Arnold Transportation Services announced Paul Rasmussen as its new vice president of capacity. Rasmussen, who has been with the company for about a month, has more than 13 years of recruiting experience in the transportation industry.

ATS is growing its fleet to over 1,000 trucks due to the high demand for its premium regional dedicated service but also retaining a small-company environment.

"It's all about 'Safety, Service and People,'" said Rasmussen. "Our continued focus on our core principles really drive our culture that goes back to our roots when we started in 1936."

ATS says its drivers benefit from state-of-the-art equipment, high pay, EZ Pass provided at no charge, referral and rehire bonuses, and multiple insurance plan options. Independent contractors, the company says, have no forced dispatch, steady freight and weekly settlements. Additionally, the company has two Super Regional running areas in the Southeast and Southwest that get drivers home every 7-10 days.

"Whether you want to stay on the road for longer periods of time or home every night, or whether you want to be a company driver or owner operator, Arnold really has something for everyone," says Rasmussen. "I'm looking forward to making Arnold my home, just like our drivers have."
