TWT Refrigerated Service is increasing its owner-operator (solo, team and multi-fleet owners) pay package to $1 per mile effective May 1.

According to Vice President of Personnel Jeff Benesch, "This $1 per mile is all miles, loaded and empty, and has no hidden factors or unobtainable incentives," he says. "On top of that $1 per mile, the owner-operator will also receive 100% of the fuel surcharge, detention pay, lumper pay, as well as a list of other things like no charge for trailer usage or reefer fuel, no charge for satellite usage, etc.

"Owner-operators are important to us," Benesch says. "We value their partnership and want to offer them a great career and future with TWT."

Founded in 1972, TWT serves the western United States along with team operations to Denver, Colorado with its fleet of late model power units, refrigerated trailers and dry vans.
