Compli Names David Childers CEO

David Childers is the new chief executive officer at Compli, a provider of HR, safety and compliance management software.

Prior to joining Compli, Childers was a founder and CEO of EthicsPoint. He sits on the Board of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and is a member of the Ethics & Compliance Officer Association, the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the National Association of Corporate Directors. In addition, Childers is a charter member of the Open Compliance Ethics Group where he has been recognized as an OCEG Fellow. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and serves as the chairman of the Software Association of Oregon board. In both 2010 and 2011, Childers was honored as a finalist for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

He is a frequent lecturer on the subject of business ethics, and publications including The Wall Street Journal, MSNBC.com, Reuters Legal News, Treasury & Risk Magazine, The Portland Business Journal and The Oregonian have solicited his opinion. In 2008, Treasury & Risk Magazine named him one of the "100 Most Influential People in Finance."
