The average pump price for diesel exhaust fluid in the U.S. fell by a penny to $2.75 a gallon from December to January, reported.

This comes after gaining 3 cents in each of the previous two months. These numbers come from Integer Research's monthly DEF Tracker.

The number of locations offering bulk DEF at the pump in North America numbered 396 as of Jan. 27. DEF tote refill prices fell in four of the five U.S. metropolitan locations covered by the DEF Tracker, and less-than-full-truckload bulk deliveries declined in all five cities.

DEF Tracker includes pump price data for every U.S. state and Canadian province offering the facility and further price references for full truck load bulk deliveries and packaged products, accompanied by analysis from industry experts.
