Landstar has named Annette Forster, Emily Grantham, Kris Johnson and Zsanett Vasahlik Employees of the Year for 2010.
The four were chosen as the best of the best among the 36 Employees of the Month selected during 2010 from Landstar's service centers in Jacksonville, Fla., and Rockford, Ill., as well as NLM, a Landstar Supply Chain Solutions company based in Detroit, Mich.

The Jacksonville service center's Employees of the Year are Forster and Grantham. Forster is a secretary in the Human Resources department and has been with Landstar since September 2005. She was selected for her positive attitude, thirst for knowledge and willingness to accept any challenge. Grantham is an accounts payable representative in the Corporate Accounting department. She has been with Landstar since October of 2003 and was chosen for her teamwork and her attention to detail.

The Rockford service center's Employee of the Year is Kris Johnson, a technical specialist in the Information Services department. He has been with Landstar since March of 2007 and was selected for his dependability, excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.

Vasahlik is the NLM Employee of the Year. She is a lead software developer in the Information Services department and joined NLM in April 2005. She was chosen for her broad knowledge base of NLM systems and dedication to her job.

Landstar President and CEO Henry Gerkens commended all the 2010 Employees of the Year for their outstanding service to the company.

"Landstar's 2010 Employees of the Year are committed to outstanding performance every day and are prime examples of why the company is so successful," said Gerkens. "These four are to be commended for their hard work and dedication to service excellence. I'm proud to showcase them as among our best employees."
