Roadrunner Transportation Services, Cuday, Wisconsin, announced a program with a wider variety of choices for contractors who want to own a truck through lease/purchase or purchase.

Under the new RRTS program, independent contractors may choose between three separate companies with a range of options including new or used trucks, a low down payment or a $0 down payment, and their desired payment amounts and arrangements.

"We're excited about giving independent contractors more access to truck ownership," said Director of Linehaul Development Mark Pluff. "Our Lease/Purchase Program is different from most others because it doesn't involve us selling trucks. Our only interest is the welfare of the contractor. Best of all, by partnering with a variety of companies, independent contractors with all types of credit histories will be able to participate."

Pluff said the purchase plan for new trucks also includes a $1,000 credit and parts discount. The two lease/purchase plans include tires, brakes, preventive maintenance, flexible terms, and affordable buy-outs starting as low as $1.

From 17 strategically located terminals nationwide, Roadrunner Transportation Services offers LTL, truckload, expedited and third-party logistics services.
