The Women In Trucking Association will honor female driver Christine Leslie-Espinoza, mother of WNBA player Lisa Leslie, during an upcoming LA Sparks game on Aug. 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Center court seats can be purchased for $55, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Women In Trucking. Guests will also be invited to meet Christine Leslie-Espinoza and be in a group photo with her and her daughter, Lisa Leslie.

Lisa Leslie, seven-time WNBA all star, two-time WNBA champion and four-time Olympic Gold Medalist, credits her mother as being her role model. Espinoza supported the family by driving a truck.

"Christine Leslie-Espinoza raised six children by working as a truck driver," said Ellen Voie, president and CEO of WIT. "And in the process she showed her family and her peers that women can break barriers and be successful in trucking as well as in professional sports."

Tickets for the game can be ordered by calling Aminah Mills at 213-926-6138.
