Evans Distribution Systems, a third-party logistics provider of warehousing, transportation and value-added solutions, has expanded with new operations in Kenosha, Wis., Twinsburg and Toledo, Ohio, and Denver and Aurora, Colo.
Evans is working with a national trucking company overseeing the labor and processes of two automotive crossdock operations in Colorado. As a result of these new operations, Evans has added approximately 25 new associates including material handlers and managers.
The Michigan-based company is also providing switching and yard management services for an automotive client at several assembly plants. To support this new business, Evans hired 16 employees who will serve as drivers and managers.
