Navistar International will hold its fourth annual Navistar Service-Technician Rodeo on June 8, 2010
.

International dealer technicians from across North America will gather at Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Ill., to compete at stations simulating service areas for air conditioning, brakes, drive train, electrical and MaxxForce engines.

The contest is a hands-on test of technical skill and speed. Out of 400 eligible technicians, 202 took the rodeo online qualifying exam on April 6 and 7. Of those, 11 were chosen to represent each region of the U.S. and Canada at this year's rodeo.

"Only an elite group of Diamond-Certified technicians are allowed to participate in this event," said Vaughn Allen, vice president, product and customer support, Navistar. "This means all participants have Automotive Service Excellence certification for the United States or Canadian Provincial Licensing for Canada and are International certified in all of our categories."
