The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association is now accepting nominations for its annual Heavy Duty Remanufacturer of the Year Award, which will be presented at the Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group Summit 2010 in Las Vegas on Jan. 18, 2010.

The award honors a remanufacturer that has demonstrated leadership and vision in the industry.

"Four years ago the Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group was formed to further the interests of the heavy-duty remanufacturer members of APRA," said Bill Gager, president of APRA. "Both APRA and HDRG have benefited from numerous hard working individuals who have helped in the creation of this group and we are more than pleased to be able to recognize one of them at our luncheon next year."

The Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group Summit takes place before Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week, an industry driven week of meetings, conferences and a trade show. The HDRG Summit will feature a forward-looking program of industry professional discussing the future technologies facing the remanufacturing industry.

Nominations can be sent to Gager at the APRA headquarters.
