Haldex Commercial Vehicle Systems will combine its Brake Controls and Air Management Business divisions into a new Air Controls Business unit, which will be lead by Paul Bale
. The company is merging the two because of their strong working relationship.
In other changes, the company has called on Wim Goossens to take over the Heidelberg, Germany, manufacturing operations and CVS operations in Hungary. Goossens will still handle his current duties for the European distribution facility in Weyersheim, France.
In addition, Dr. Georg Haussler is leaving Haldex to pursue other opportunities, as a result of the consolidation.
The company's sales unit will remain intact.
