TMW Systems has unveiled speakers for its annual TransForum user conference and exhibition Sept. 20-23, including keynote retired Army Lt. Gen. Russel Honore, who was involved with the Gulf Coast military relief efforts following Hurricane Katrina
. He will speak on "Leadership and Preparedness in the 21st Century."

The conference, which will take place at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tenn., will also feature Clyde Fessler, retired vice president of business development for Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Fessler played an integral part in the Harley-Davidson business turnaround over the past 24 years. He led the establishment of the Harley Owners Group, which now has more than half a million members.

James Hill, partner and executive chairman of law firm Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff, will lead a panel discussion on mergers and acquisitions called "Purchase Price-Filling the Gap Between Buyers and Sellers." Designed for company principals and senior executives, this panel session will also feature Andy Ahern, CEO of Ahern Associates, and David Hallett, managing director at Lazard Middle Market, formerly Goldsmith Agio Helms.

Dr. Michael Economides, professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at the University of Houston, returns for his third year with TransForum. He will speak on the global petroleum industry and in particular, on the social and business impact of fuel and energy policies.

Other speakers include Benjamin Hartford, a senior equity research associate with Robert W. Baird & Co., who will cover the "State of the Logistics Industry" from a Wall Street analyst's perspective. Mark Winkler, vice president of strategic planning and business for Bridgestone Bandag, will speak on "Identifying and Capturing Profitable Customer Segments for Your Business" in a breakout session, while "Strategic Acquisitions-A Growth Strategy for Today's Marketplace," will be led by Duff Swain, president of Trincon Group.
