PeopleNet is moving its corporate and U.S. headquarters from Chaska to Minnetonka, Minn., as a result of the company's growth.
PeopleNet Canada will stay in Burlington, Ontario.

"After achieving record revenue and subscriber growth in 2008, we are expanding our operations in a number of areas," said CEO Ron Konezny.

The company has signed a 10-year lease on a newly renovated building at Interstate 494 and Highway 7, at 4400 Baker Road. The building, which is almost twice the size of the Chaska building, will accommodate the company's 140 employees at the beginning of September. At the new location, employees will have access to walking paths, a full-service cafeteria, large training rooms, underground parking and fitness and shower facilities.

"With over 80,000 subscribers and over 100 new fleets signed last year, PeopleNet is financially strong and continues to grow as we celebrate our 15th anniversary," Konezny said. "There is strong demand by all fleet types as they look for more advanced tools to help them operate at top efficiency."

Founded in 1994, PeopleNet provides Internet-based and integrated onboard computing and mobile communications systems for fleet management.
