Only points separated four of the top working show trucks in America competing for the 2008 Truck-Lite Trophy awarded at the Mid-America Trucking Show.
"Judges looked and then looked again, even inside the tool boxes were checked for cleanliness. Judging of the lights was done when it was dark enough to see them. With all four trucks illuminated there were 900 plus lights to admire," a National Association of Show Trucks spokesman said.

First Place and bragging rights for the 2008 season was received by Bobby Lindamood from Irving, Texas, driving a 2007 Peterbilt 379 pulling a round bottom dump trailer. This makes the second year in a row that a Texas truck takes home the gold.

Second Place for the 2008 Truck-Lite Trophy was awarded to Jeremy Hassevoort with Rabbit River Transport out of Holland, Mich., for his 1986 Peterbilt 359 pulling a reefer.

The official start of 2009 N.A.S.T Trophy Series kicks off with the 6th Annual Great Lakes Truck Show May 29-31, 2009 at Cabela's in Dundee, Mich. For more information log on to www.nastshowtrucks.org.
