Service Tire Truck Centers has opened an 85,000-square-foot Michelin Retread Technologies retread and sales/service facility in York, Penn.
The new location replaces the company's existing York outlet.
Features of the facility include:
• multiple truck drive-in service bays.
• state-of-the-art air compressors and cyclones for reduced energy consumption.
• high-efficiency motion sensitive lighting.
• a custom powder coat process with an automatic phosphate dip tank and a high-efficiency curing oven.
"We needed a new facility to have another production hub to meet our increased production needs," says STTC co-owner and COO Walt Dealtrey Jr. "It also allowed us to install the newest equipment to ensure that we make retreads of the highest quality."
STTC is based in Bethlehem, Pa., has 26 commercial locations covering central and eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, New York and Virginia.
