The 2021 Fleet Forward Conference, convening in person at the Hayes Mansion in San Jose Nov. 10-12, announces that Roush CleanTech will have its Class 6 Zero-Emission Battery Electric Vehicle for attendees to drive and experience.

The truck is part of the conference’s Innovation in Motion — a new, interactive experience featuring EV ride and drives, technology displays, and autonomous vehicle demonstrations. Innovation in Motion will take place on Nov. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Zero-Emission Battery Electric Vehicle has a GVWR of 26,000 lbs. and is built on the Ford F-650 chassis. The truck is available in two wheelbases and four body lengths.

The truck’s modular dual battery design offers 165 kWh of available energy for an estimated range of 120 miles, depending on variables such as payload and driving conditions.

Adam Wilkum, director of E-Mobility for Roush CleanTech, will be on hand to demonstrate the features and capabilities of the Zero-Emission Battery Electric Vehicle and walk participants through the ride and drive.

Wilkum will also serve as a panelist for the seminar “Real World Insights into Medium-Duty EV Deployments” along with a representative from Lightning eMotors.

“The market of commercial electric vehicles is beginning to bloom, and we’re excited to have Roush CleanTech take part in Innovation in Motion,” said Chris Brown, conference chair. “Fleet Forward Conference is a prime opportunity to experience these new electric trucks firsthand and inform decision making for fleets.”

Other vehicles for Innovation in Motion will be announced soon, along with demonstrations and displays.
