TEC Equipment has opened a new purpose-built, heavy-duty truck dealership facility in Sparks, Nev., signaling the company's full-service entrance into the Northern Nevada truck market.
The company acquired Volvo and Mack trucks franchises for the Reno, Nev., territory in 2006. The Reno-Sparks branch, TEC Reno, has been operating out of temporary quarters in Sparks since that time.
The 35,000-square-foot facility sits on 5 acres. The dealership hosts new and used truck sales, 15 pull-through truck service bays, a large parts department, truck financing, truck rental and leasing and a full service commercial insurance agency.
