Waltco, a U.S. manufacturer of liftgates, announced the relocation of its Tallmadge plant to Streetsboro, Ohio, 35 miles south of Cleveland. The new 180,000 square-foot production space and 23-acre site was chosen to accommodate the rapid growth and expansion as part of the company’s long-term strategy.

The new building provides capacity for manufacturing, customer support, engineering, sales and services, and leadership functions across the entity.

“Our new location and enhanced operational efficiencies will help us continue to grow and develop to keep pace with our customers’ needs. This also allows Waltco to provide exceptional value and superior service. I am pleased that the relocation had no impact on our customers and delivery times, we could not have found a better location for our team,” said Martin Saint, Global Services Director for Waltco.
