Networkcar, San Diego, is changing its name to Networkfleet and has moved to a newly renovated building to expand its headquarters.
The name change and corresponding new brand image reflect the company's focus on helping commercial and government fleets of a variety of vehicles to increase operating efficiency and reduce costs.
Networkfleet developed a wireless diagnostic monitoring system that connects directly to a vehicle's on-board diagnostic OBD-II port. In 2006, it was acquired by Hughes Telematics. Its customers represent a range of industries and fleet sizes, from less than 10 vehicles to thousands of vehicles.
