Prestolite Electric, a global manufacturer and supplier of alternators and starter motors for OE and the aftermarket, expanded its portfolio of starters with the introduction of Leece-Neville M93 and M97 24V 6kW starters, which are designed to provide power for a variety of medium-duty and heavy-duty applications, as well as off-highway vehicles and buses. These in-line, gear-reduction starters are an ideal replacement for many competitive units and are already used on Cummins and other popular models, according to the manufacturer.
