Penske Truck Leasing hosted the grand opening of a new $9 million facility in Sun Valley, Calif.
The 16,000-square-foot facility, employing approximately 20 associates, offers commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service truck leasing and contract maintenance. About 70 leasing customers are serviced from this 5-acre location and over 450 vehicles are maintained on-site.
Previously, regional customers received services from Los Angeles locations, on-site maintenance for select customers, and a leased Rental Mart in Sun Valley.
The expansive structure features three service bays, an automated truck washing bay and a two-lane fuel island with high-speed fuel pumps.

"This new facility will consolidate Penske's operations in the San Fernando Valley," stated Peter Weeks, senior vice president - Western Region. "Penske can now operate more efficiently in a single state-of-the-art location. We plan on hiring more associates to keep pace with the demand."
