Davco Technology has released the Shop Pro FXP 95 and the Shop Pro MX designed to prime diesel engines, transfer fuel from fuel tanks and clean contaminated fuel in a fuel tank.

The Shop Pro FXP 95 is designed for the DD13, 15, 16 engines and the Shop Pro MX is designed for the Paccar MX-11 EPA 2013 and MX-13 EPA 2010/2013 engines.

The Shop Pro eliminates the need to use a hand pump or maintain reserve fuel for priming in a separate tank, according to Davco. It uses the vehicle’s fuel tank to prime the engine and runs on 120-volt power. Shop Pro filters and removes contaminated fuel, sediment and water in one operation while transferring fuel or cleaning fuel tanks.

The Shop Pro FXP 95 is designed specifically for use with Detroit DD GHG engines. It provides a higher output pressure to meet the Detroit engine EPA07-GHG14 priming requirements. The FXP 95 is used when replacing the fuel pump or fuel injectors on the Detroit GHG 14 engines. It ensures that the fuel pump two-stage valve opens and the complete fuel system is primed. There is an optional Shop Pro 95 model with a 50 p.s.i. regulator for use on other diesel engines.

The Shop Pro MX is for use on the suction side of Paccar MX -11 and -13 engines. Step by step instructions will allow a Paccar dealer technician to properly prime the MX Engines. As with all Davco Shop Pro’s models, the Shop Pro MX can also transfer fuel from fuel tanks and clean contaminated fuel in a vehicle’s fuel tank.

The Shop Pro models incorporate an all-in-one fuel processor from Davco, priming and dispensing hoses and a 120VAC motor/pump combination.
