Mitchell 1, a Snap-on Company, has launched a new online service information portal, covering Class 4 through 7 medium-duty trucks 1990 and newer.
Medium-Truck.net provides Web-based service and repair information for medium-duty trucks. The site's sister offering, Tractor-Trailer.net, includes maintenance information of heavy-duty Class 7 and 8 tractors and trailers.
The new site offers the same 24/7 access to real world service information as Tractor-Trailer.net, and is updated automatically on a monthly basis. It features detailed color wiring diagrams to help solve complex electrical problems. CircuitSelect, available with both products, allows users to trace, highlight, isolate and hide individual wiring circuits using different colored highlights. The services also include full-color photos of many vehicle parts and assemblies.
After logging in, technicians enter the vehicle VIN number and the program automatically populates the year, make and model for vehicle selection. The system then provides diagnosis and repair information.
