Wabco Holdings announced that it will locate its new Americas headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and is currently building the facility to house it.

The new 102,000 square-foot facility is expected to open in the third quarter of 2018, and the company said that it represents a significant investment and demonstrates Wabco’s commitment to the region. The facility will house about 200 employees when it opens, including employees who are currently located at separate sites in Rochester Hills and Troy, Michigan.

Wabco has tripled its workforce in North America in the past two years through the acquisition of four tech manufacturing businesses and the buyout of Meritor Wabco Vehicle Control Systems joint venture with Meritor.
