XPO Logistics has recognized seven of its less-than-truckload drivers who have achieved 3 million consecutive miles of accident–free driving.

The company honored Jeffrey Adkins, James Cosentino, Benjamin Dixon, Robert Hickerson, James Hughes, Stephen Pargeon, and James Poe for the safety milestone.

To put this accomplishment in perspective, 3 million miles is equivalent to the distance covered circumnavigating the Earth 120 times, driving round trip from Los Angeles to New York City nearly 500 times, or making six trips to the moon and back.

Since XPO began its LTL operation in 1983, 19 XPO LTL drivers have surpassed 3 million safe-driving miles.

“Navigating a truck safely for 3 million miles, through all kinds of weather and highway conditions, is truly an impressive performance,” said Tony Brooks, president of the LTL business at XPO Logistics. “These seven dedicated professionals are an inspiring example of what it means to make safety a priority every day. It’s a privilege to honor them for this remarkable safety accomplishment.”
