Hendrickson has launched an interactive online education portal called the Hendrickson Academy that provides video-based maintenance and repair procedures for many of the company’s suspensions and components.

The Hendrickson Academy is currently available to fleet and service technicians looking to hone technical skills and add to professional development.

“Hendrickson’s educational portal is user-friendly and is designed with service technicians in mind. Fleets have been asking for online educational tools, and we are happy to be able to provide an educational portal, that works” said Steve Berry, global field service director at Hendrickson.

Educational pods are designed for users who want to learn on their own time and at their own pace. The three- to ten-minute videos can be viewed anytime with start, stop, and pause controls for review. Technical literature is also available for downloading or printing.

Upon successful completion of a course, which includes a brief test, a certificate will be provided with a printable option.

The Hendrickson Academy is a fluid, expandable, educational portal with a number of courses currently available:

  • Maxx22T – Trailer air disc brake systems
  • TireMaxx Pro – Automatic tire pressure control systems
  • HXL3, HXL5, and HXL7 Ready-To-Roll Wheel-end Components – Fully integrated solutions that minimize operating costs and improve performance
  • HaulMaax - Vocational applications where durability, lightweight and driver comfort are essential

The online courses can be found at www.hendrickson-academy.com.  Additional education content will be added on a continuing basis, according to Hendrickson.
