Volvo Trucks North America is showing off its lineup of refuse-focused truck models this week at WasteExpo 2016.

Volvo is featuring three models at its booth at the event, which takes place from June 6-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. WasteExpo 2016 is a refuse-industry event for the private and public, small, medium, and large, waste management companies, manufacturers and suppliers.

“Whether for collection, roll off or transfer, our truck lineup serves the refuse industry well in a variety of applications,” said Wade Long, Volvo Trucks director of product marketing.

Volvo models on display will include a VNM, VHD and VNL. The VNM is available as a straight truck or tractor. In straight truck configuration, the VNM can be used as a platform for automated side loader applications.

The VHD model is also available in straight and tractor versions and is suited for a number of refuse applications, including rear or automated side loading and roll off.

The VNL day cab model can be used as a refuse transfer station truck and can be specified from the factory with several different transmission, suspension, axle, frame and PTO options to meet job requirements.
