Mack Trucks will showcase its 2017 powertrain lineup at WasteExpo 2016, including the public debut of its newest Mack MP series engines, the company announced.
The latest version of the Mack MP engines feature a new common-rail fuel injection system and a patented wave piston to deliver improved performance, productivity and fuel efficiency.
WasteExpo 2016 is a refuse industry event for the private and public, small, medium, and large, waste management companies, manufacturers and suppliers. It takes place from June 6-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Mack will also have its full line of refuse and recycling trucks on hand and a special demonstration truck to highlight the company’s latest technologies for refuse vehicle propulsion.
Mack models on display will include a Mack LR Model Cabover Front Loader, Granite Axle Forward Hoist Truck, TerraPro Cabover Front Loader, LR Model Cabover Automated Side Loader and an LR Model Cabover Split Body Rear Loader.
