Rim Yurkus, co-founder, president and CEO of Strategic Programs, died last month, according to representatives of his company. The details of his passing are pending a required autopsy report.

Yurkus co-founded Strategic Programs in 1988. As president and CEO, he oversaw Strategic Programs' consulting, developed data-driven solutions, and provided executive coaching. He also headed up new product development and presented at national conferences on leadership development and talent management.

Prior to Strategic Programs, Yurkus was an executive vice president and partner in the International Institute of Foods and Family Living, an independent food marketing research facility. He held a B.A. from the University of Illinois, Circle Campus, where he also completed graduate studies in statistics for behavioral sciences and communications.

Strategic Programs announced that it will maintain its current management team moving forward.

Strategic Programs provides workforce intelligence solutions and analytics based on customized surveys and assessments of the employee/contractor lifestyle. The company examines workers from pre-hire through exit, providing behavioral assessments, new hire surveys, current employee and contractor satisfaction surveys, stay interviews and exit interviews. Trucking is one of the fields it specializes in.

The information Strategic Programs gathers is used for analysis and planning to help clients improve selection retention, engagement, succession planning, and leadership development.
