Following its acquisition of Goodyear's air springs business, Stemco named Donnie Wells  vice president and general manager of Stemco Suspension Products.

In his new role, Wells will lead the company’s suspension products business, which includes the Stemco Kaiser, Stemco Gaff, Stemco Equipment, and the newly acquired Goodyear Air Springs product families.

“The integration of Goodyear Air Springs has added a new dimension of product offerings to Stemco’s suspension products,” said Todd Anderson, president of Stemco.

Wells replaces Jon Cocco, who joined the Stemco family from Veyance Technologies during the company’s acquisition of Goodyear Air Springs in July 2015.

“Jon has been extremely helpful during the complex process of integrating our new air springs products,” Anderson added. “His professionalism and knowledgeable support during the past few months have been instrumental to this transition. We wish him the very best.”

Wells, who assumes his new role effective immediately, comes to Stemco from Compressor Products International (CPI), another member of the EnPro family. He began his career as a design engineer at Dana Corporation and initially joined Stemco in 1998 before joining CPI in 2010. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Letourneau University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
