Haldex, a global manufacturer of air brake systems for trucks, trailers and buses announced that it has received Paccar’s 2014 50 PPM Quality Award.

Haldex earned the award by meeting Paccar’s expectation that supplier parts and components achieve 50 PPM or better quality. Over a 12-month period, Paccar monitors the quality of their suppliers' parts and components to verify that product defects are below 50 parts per million. Other factors like product innovation, production parts approval process, number of warranty cases and timely delivery are also taken into consideration for the award.

As part of the award, Haldex will be added to the list of 2014 50 PPM suppliers displayed in Paccar locations and hosted on Paccar’s website.

“Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF trucks have earned a reputation for unsurpassed quality,” stated a Paccar release. “Much of the credit for this success goes to Paccar suppliers like Haldex, who meet or exceed Paccar’s quality expectations.”
