Noregon Systems’ Truck Check Up is an interactive, fuel-island based truck diagnostics station designed for use in heavy-duty trucks.
While fueling, drivers can connect a cable to their truck’s diagnostic port to start the scanning process. In less than a minute, Truck Check Up scans the entire vehicle and trailer for fault code information and provides a vehicle health report.
Drivers can purchase a printed Vehicle Health Report that provides a summary of issues found and actions required. If repairs are needed, a driver can then take the report to a repair facility. With a TCU Vehicle Health report in hand, technicians can quickly identify needed repairs and locate parts faster and more efficiently.
The new service is making its debut at Boss Shops, beginning with an open house event July 8 and 9 at the Grand Island, Nebraska, location.
“TCU offers drivers a unique solution to the growing complexities in today’s trucks,” said Greg Reimmuth, senior VP of sales and marketing for Noregon. “TCU scans all engine, transmission, body controllers and ABS – including trailers – and provides a comprehensive health report. TCU displays all fault codes and fault status along with expert guidance for recommended action if there is a current or pending issue with the vehicle.”
