The full schedule for the Fleet Safety Conference is out, and the second day is full of sessions and talks about how fleets can excel in risk management and minimize liability.

The Fleet Safety Conference takes place July 13-15 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, Ill. Day two begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 2 p.m.

The day begins with a breakfast and general session titled "Latest Industry Initiatives to Reduce Deaths and Injuries Associated with Distracted Driving," presented by David Teater of the National Safety Council.

At 10 a.m., two concurrent sessions will take place. The first session, "What Is Your Liability Exposure for Reimbursed and Occasional Drivers," is presented by John Cruickshank from Alaniz, Schraeder, Linker, Farris & Mayes LLP. Another session, "MVRs: Managing Driver Risk," will be presented by Art Liggio of Driving Dynamics.

The last sessions will take place after a short refreshment and networking break. "Best Practices in Driver Risk Management for Light-Duty Fleets" will be moderated by Bobit Business Media's Eric Bearly. Panelists include Richard Crawford of SambaSafety, Paul Farrell of Nationwide Insurance, Allen Lowry of Navajo Express Trucking, Jim Napier of OH Regional Transit Authority, Herbert Pruitt of PG&E Utility and Eric Young of Google.

Concurrently, Adam Kahn of SmartDrive Systems will present "Best Practices in Driver Risk Management for Heavy-Duty Fleets."
