Several van upfitters have begun offering ladder racks, shelving units and partitions for the 2015 Ram ProMaster City compact van that entered the market in late 2014.

Companies such as Adrian Steel, Leggett & Platt CVP, Ranger Design, Werner's Weather Guard brand, and Knapheide's Sortimo brand unveiled the new upfit packages at the NTEA's Work Truck Show earlier this month. Several of the upfitters showed ProMaster City vans equipped with their products at the trade show.

Adrian Steel showed a ProMaster City prototype at the show with a Communications Package that could be used by telecommunications fleets. The company has begun offering a steel or wire mesh partition, ADseries shelving, drawer modules, blue bins, floor drawers, literature files, Grip-Lock and aluminum utility ladder racks, as well as several vocational packages.

Leggett & Platt Commercial Vehicle Products showed a ProMaster City painted with a blue-and-white color scheme, ladder rack, and steel wire mesh bulkhead.

Ranger Design showed a matte gray ProMaster City concept van at the Work Truck Show equipped with a roof rack that can accommodate two 28-foot ladders. The upfitter showed an interior Contractor Package with seven shelves, bins, a 6-inch "J" hook, and a contoured aluminum partition with a tempered glass window.

A ProMaster City with Weather Guard products appeared at the show with a dual clamp ladder rack with two Werner ladders, a windowed bulkhead, and a Pack Rat storage drawer and shelving unit on the cargo floor. A vertical shelving unit mounted behind the driver's side seat included two shelves, bins, and a can organizer.

The Auto Truck Group is the designed ship-through upfitter for Weather Guard products. The company uses its Maple Shade, N.J., facility to equip the vehicles before delivering them to fleets.
