Boyd Bros Raises Driver Pay

Boyd Bros. Transportation announced a pay increase for its drivers.

The new pay program will allow drivers to average 54 cents per mile, as well as get increased vacation pay, tarp pay at $20-$26, and a higher sign-on bonus for experienced flatbed drivers.

There also will be a 2-cent-per-mile increase in pay for company drivers and a 4-cent-per-mile increase for lease purchase drivers.

Headquartered in Clayton, Alabama, Boyd Bros. is a flatbed truckload carrier that operates throughout the eastern two-thirds of the United States.

The company has plans to replace one third of their fleet with new trucks.

Boyd Bros. driver benefits include medical and life insurance plans, and a referral bonus program. There is also an opportunity to have 24 hours of home time every weekend in 80% of its hiring areas, according to Boyd Bros.
