The American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists has announced SOLD ’15, a two-day program focused on building better truck service businesses.
The Service Opportunities and Learning Day program will take place on Jan. 25 and 26 in Las Vegas at the Mirage Resort and Casino, in conjunction with Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week. It will feature speakers and panels on the better practices of running a service business.
Sunday Jan. 25 will feature a heavy-duty business management session by Bob Greenwood, an international expert in shop management and efficiency.
Monday morning will begin with Leo Thomason, co-founder and executive director of the Natural Gas Vehicle Institute, speaking on the topic of shops with CNG and LNG vehicles.
The next session is a nine-member panel with top suspension manufacturers and aftermarket providers discussing genuine parts versus aftermarket parts.
The program will conclude with ASE vice president Tony Molla presenting the five tools that have had the greatest impact on technicians in the past year.
