Whether you’re a seasoned veteran in expedited trucking or just exploring the opportunities that the fastest growing segment in the trucking industry has to offer, the only trade show in the nation dedicated to this part of trucking is set for later this month.

The Expedite Expo will be held July 25 and 26 at the Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington, Ohio. The show times for both days are 9:00am to 4:00pm EDT. Registration, admission and parking are all free at the event located off I-71, exit 50.

Launched in 2001, the expo attracts more than 4,000 annual attendees and exhibitors across North America to learn about the newest trucks, career opportunities and products geared specifically to owner operators and drivers of medium duty and heavy-duty trucks, according to show organizers. The expo covers over 80,000 sq. feet of trucks, truck parts, chrome, trucking displays, product exhibits and offers free live entertainment.

The event also includes more than 10 workshops with advice on how to spec a truck, choose the right carrier, reduce costs, improve profits and save time, along with learning about effective strategies for surviving and thriving in today’s economy. Many are presented as live forums with industry experts answering attendee questions

On July 25 from 11:00am to 12:00pm, Administrator Anne Ferro with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is scheduled speak about what lies ahead for the trucking industry and take audience questions.

The show also includes a contest to recognize the dealer whose truck or cargo van at the show is the best in the expedite industry while there will be a separate antique truck show.

The Expedite Expo will also feature several family-friendly activities from live music and entertainment, along with a casino night, and a performance by Jungle Jack Hanna's troupe, featuring animals from the Columbus Zoo.
