Truckload carrier Schneider National has created 75 new jobs for professional truck drivers looking to transport some unique freight.

They will be hauling motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson’s engines and parts from Missouri, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania to various points around the United States.

The Wisconsin-based carrier is hiring experienced drivers in Kansas City, Mo., Menomonee Falls, Wis., and York, Penn., to support its new business with Harley-Davidson. To kick-start the hiring process, the company is offering sign-on bonuses of $7,000 for teams and $3,500 for solo drivers.

“Our team drivers can expect to average 5,000 to 6,000 miles per week, which can equate to $80,000 per year,” said Rob Reich, Schneider’s vice president. “Those who drive solo will run about 2,800 miles a week and earn up to $66,000 a year.”

He said drivers on this dedicated account will work predictable schedules and enjoy weekly home time.
