The 2014 Mid-West Truck & Trailer Show has been set for Jan. 31 & Feb 1, 2014 at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Ill., located just off I-74 in downtown Peoria, Ill.

Held in conjunction with the Annual Convention of the Mid-West Truckers Association, show organizers say it will continue its growth with more exhibitors and the successful Trucker’s Pride Truck Beauty Contest, held indoors for work and show trucks.

The 2014 Mid-West Truck & Trailer Show will include expanded displays, programs and space for nearly 200 exhibitors to help truck operators move ahead in a complex market while facing the challenges of changing regulations, an uncertain economy and increased costs, according to organizers

Truck show attendees will see displays of the newest tractors, trailers, engines, parts, accessories, communication and computer equipment, tires, lubricants, services and much more. Plus, representatives of all state and federal government agencies that deal with the trucking industry will be available. There will be product demonstrations, many door prizes and special show prices for all in attendance.

Headline speaker for the Jan. 31 opening session of the Mid-West Truck Show will be Administrator Anne Ferro of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, who will update truck operators on FMCSA’s regulatory agenda and what’s ahead for the industry.

The Truckers Pride Truck Beauty Contest includes an antique truck category and a People’s Choice Award, voted by all attendees. The 2014 Show promises prizes, trophies and recognition for its winners. Truck entries will be accepted at www.MidwestTruckShow.com

Back for a return engagement is the Trucker’s Pinewood Derby, where big truckers and little truckers can build their own racing rig and run on a certified Pinewood Derby track. All entry fees go to Special Olympics.

Show hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Jan. 31 and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Feb. 1

Admission is free with promotional tickets available from most Midwest industry suppliers or online at http://www.MidwestTruckShow.com. There is ample truck access and parking on site.
