Four fleets were honored as “exceptional” innovators at PeopleNet’s annual Customer Appreciation Dinner during the company’s users conference Aug. 20 in San Antonio.

Crosstex Energy Service, Dallas, was honored in the under-100-truck category for completely customizing PeopleNet’s Crude Workflow application.

J Rayl Transport, Akron, Ohio, was singled out in the 100-500-truck category for demonstrating leadership in energy conservation and clean-energy fuels for installing the first public CNG station in the area at its headquarters.

In the 500-plus truck category, MBI Energy Services, Belfield, N.D., was recognized for “revolutionizing” the way U.S. trucking companies view technology in the oil field and energy services market.

Paul’s Hauling, Winnipeg, Manitoba, was selected among PeopleNet’s Canadian customers for being an early adopter of ALK navigation and Route Sync applications as well as deploying a number of PeopleNet applications into their fleet.
