Power Train Service, an independent aftermarket parts and service provider, has been named an authorized rebuilder of Eaton transmissions.

Power Train, based in Indianapolis with 12 locations in three states, now offers a rebuilt transmission consisting of 100% genuine Eaton parts and supported by Eaton’s Real Time Warranty and the Roadranger Network.

Power Train is one of three large independent aftermarket companies in the new Eaton Authorized Rebuilder program. The others are TransAxle, Cinnaminson, N.J.; and Valley Truck Parts, Grand Rapids, Mich.

To be recognized as an Eaton Authorized Rebuilder, staff at the three locations will be required to take Eaton’s technical and sales training, meet Eaton’s re-use and rebuild criteria, and must use 100% genuine Eaton content for all of the transmissions rebuilt as part of the program.

“Our company is very much focused on service,” said Joe Leffel, president of Power Train. “This program, and the technological expertise that comes with it, will go a long way in allowing us to better service all of our customers, while also working with what we believe are the highest quality transmissions in the truck industry.”

Power Train Service distributes its rebuilt drive train units to the global market. The company has 10 retail locations and is a member of HDA-Truck Pride. For more information visit www.pwrtrain.com.
