Action Truck Parts, a full-line distributor of heavy duty truck and trailer components, has joined the Vipar Heavy Duty network of distributors as a stockholder.

The company, based in the Chicago suburb of Bolingbrook, Ill., has been serving the greater Chicago area market for the past eight years.

Established in 2005, Action Truck Parts is managed and run by Nick Seidel, store manager, Ben Seidel, president, and Paul Thoms, vice president. Action Truck Parts is also affiliated with its sister operations, Midwest Fuel Injection Service, in business since 1981 along with Diesel Service Center, which started in 2005.

In addition to heavy-duty truck parts, Action Truck Parts supplies parts for medium- and light-duty trucks and a complete line of tools and equipment. The company's customer base includes fleets, owner-operators, municipalities, OEM dealerships and independent truck repair facilities.
