TravelCenters of America announced the acquisition and rebranding of the only travel center in the state of Rhode Island. The newest TA travel center is located in West Greenwich, at I-94, Exit 5B (849 Victory Highway).

Amenities at the new TA currently include:

  • 200 truck parking spaces on a spacious, well-lit parking lot;
  • 6 diesel lanes;
  • Travel store;
  • 5 showers;
  • Full-service restaurant;
  • Emergency roadside service, available 24/7/365; and
  • UltraOne Rewards Program kiosk and swiping system.

This location also offers a variety of other full-service professional driver amenities, including Wi-Fi, weigh scale, and ATM, check cashing and TripPak services. Gasoline is offered at six fueling lanes.

“We are very pleased to have acquired this location,” said Tom O’Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters. “We plan to add a number of new amenities to this location. We expect to invest in the restaurant to transform it into a full-service Country Pride, and perform extensive renovations to the TA Truck Service facility. Additionally, we plan to add our state-of-the-art laundry system, remodel the driver’s lounge, and pave the parking lot."

    yes, I live close by and it is located exit 5B Rt. 95 in Rt 102 (aka Victory Highway). There is also a great restaurant (local owner, not a chain) directly across the street.

    I hope with parking spaces for 200 trucks that more showers are put in.

    Im really dissapointed with TA as they are CLOSING THEIR RESTAURANT FOR A POOPYES. I certainly came here for their food and service....nope..no more, just another money grab for a big company.
    Please, avoid this location at all cost so that maybe they hear the drivers for a change.
