LOUISVILLE -- The fleet management and compliance software provider XRS Corp. has entered into a co-marketing agreement with the weigh station bypass service company Drivewyze, allowing its customers to use its service at what both are calling an “exclusive discount.”

During last week’s Mid-America Trucking Show, both announced the reduced price is available for both single-state as well as multi-state use. It follows an announcement Drivewyze made with PeopleNet in early March.

Drivewyze PreClear provides local and long-haul carriers with weigh station and inspection site bypass opportunities at both fixed weigh stations and roadside mobile inspection sites. It adds transponder-like functionality to tablets, smartphones and select electronic logging devices and connects to the Drivewyze service network via a single account regardless of where a driver travels.

Drivewyze PreClear currently operates at over 200 sites in Connecticut, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, West Virginia and Nevada.

“Both XRS and Drivewyze provide customers with time-saving and cost-effective solutions,” said Rob Pallante, Director of Business Development at XRS. “With Drivewyze, we believe our customers will see an immediate cost-savings and better overall time management – something XRS is also well known for.

“We believe XRS customers are prime candidates for our bypass service,” said Brian Heath, President of Drivewyze.  “Drivewyze PreClear runs on the same mobile device platforms that run many XRS applications.”
