It may not be until Wednesday when a section of I-77 northbound reopens following a rockslide that happened on March 20.

The area is in Bluefield, W. Va., at mile marker 3, near the Virginia line.

Officials were hoping to have the section reopened sooner, but wintry weather is slowing efforts not only to clean things up but also to also stabilize the hillside.

During the shutdown, traffic is rerouted to U.S. 460, which then reconnects with the Interstate.

No injuries resulted from the rockslide.
