Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations Announces New Head of Marketing, Commercial Tire Division

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations announced a new vice president of marketing for its commercial tire division, effective March 1. 

Matthew Stevenson has been named Vice President, Commercial Tire Division, BATO. Stevenson has an extensive background in marketing for commercial vehicle and component companies, including his most recent position as General Manager of North American Field Operations and Marketing for Meritor.

Before joining Meritor in 2010, Matthew spent 10 years at Daimler Trucks North America, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility in both sales and marketing. Additionally, Matthew also held the position of Chief Operations Officer position for Daimler's Mitsubishi Fuso division. 


"Matthew brings extensive experience building strong relationships with customers in the commercial vehicle industry," said Philip Dobbs, CMO for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations-North America. 

Stevenson earned a bachelor's degree in management from GMI Engineering and Management Institute (now Kettering University) and an MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
