A member of the Kenworth dealer network of more than 325 locations in the United States and Canada, Wisconsin Kenworth - Escanaba is located on 2-1/2 acres, two blocks west of North Lincoln Road (U.S. Highways 2/41).

"By opening a parts and service location on Michigan's Northern Peninsula, we're providing local companies, loggers, miners and shippers greater access to parts and service support for their medium duty and heavy duty trucks," said Tim Johnson, vice president of Wisconsin Kenworth. Johnson also oversees the Escanaba location.

Wisconsin Kenworth is a part of CSM Companies, which operates six other dealership locations in Green Bay, La Crosse, Menomonie, Milwaukee, Mosinee, and Windsor, and Michigan Kenworth locations in Gaylord and Grand Rapids.

"Our customers will no longer have to travel more than 100 miles south to Green Bay to access parts, service and warranty support," Johnson added.

The main industries of Escanaba's local economy are mining, logging and forest products. Escanaba is home to a large paper mill operated by a leading coated paper producer. The city's port handles shipments of locally mined iron ore destined for other Great Lakes ports, especially Chicago.

The 10,000 square-foot facility features four service bays, a 5,800 square-foot parts department, and 16-foot bay doors to accommodate logging trucks. The dealership provides full warranty service support for the PACCAR MX engine. "We offer fleet customers parts delivery and remote maintenance service, plus we have emergency roadside assistance for fleets and truck operators," Johnson said.
