Today's Trucking has been named the Best Trade Magazine in Canada by the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors.

The magazine also received honorable mention - judged against trade and consumer magazines alike - for its use of headlines and photo captions as well as the Front of The Book (Dispatches) where smaller stories and charts appear. Peter Carter won the same distinction in the Editor of the Year category.

Heavy Duty Trucking and Today's Trucking have a cooperative editorial agreement where some content of interest to both Canadian and U.S. audiences is shared, with HDT editor bylines appearing in Today's Trucking and vice versa.

"This comes at a great time for us," said Publisher Joe Glionna at the awards ceremony on June 6. "Especially because it coincides with our 25th anniversary. The August issue of the magazine will be a celebration of a quarter century of publishing excellence."
