The new 9,000-square-foot facility is located only a few miles from RWI's existing corporate headquarters facility in Wilder, Ky. The new logistics space includes a training facility for new personnel to receive training in operations, sales and customer service.
"In the past three years, RWI has experienced significant growth from additional services and capabilities," says Richard Bauer, executive vice president and general manager of RWI Transportation. "During this period, our logistics unit alone experienced a 30% increase in revenue. As a company, we increased our work force by more than 40%. This aggressive growth resulted in the need for additional space."
