A&S Services Acquires Kinard Trucking

A&S Services Group LLC has acquired all of the assets of Kinard Trucking Inc. and its affiliates. The terms of the asset purchase were not disclosed.

With facilities in Maryland and South Central Pennsylvania, A&S provides trucking, warehousing and logistics services to blue-chip shippers in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Based in York, Pa., Kinard provides short-haul trucking and warehousing services in industries such as food, textiles, apparel, furniture, appliances, chemicals, non-bulk petroleum products, rubber, plastics, metal and wood products. Kinard will operate as a division of A&S Services Group, LLC.

The combination of A&S and Kinard creates a transportation solutions firm to serve major shippers in the Mid-Atlantic region, from the Northeast to North Carolina and as far west as Indiana.
